Coatue Management, which also has investments in, SnapChat, Uber, and other leading tech companies, led the round. Existing investors Morningside, Shunwei Capital, and SIG also participated.

Four-year-old provides a Twilio-like platform. It enables developers to embed real-time broadcasting, video, and voice into mobile and web applications.

Agora has more than 2 billion SDK installs as of September. The company says that makes it the most widely adopted RTC-based developer solution on the planet. A year ago last month Agora announced Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi as as a customer.

Agora operates a proprietary Software-Defined Real-Time Network. It processes an average of 10 billion minutes of live communications a month through 200 data centers across the globe.
