PlanetOne, 8x8 Partner to Push X Series

The cloud communications landscape is evolving quickly. It owes exponential growth to innovation and initiative, sure, but the straw stirring this drink is partnerships. Firms are joining forces to create ecosystems of solutions offering complete cloud portfolios.

This week, IT and telecom connectivity partner PlanetOne paired up with 8x8, serving as the cloud communication provider’s newest master agent. PlanetOne will gain access to the robust 8x8 portfolio, most notably the X Series.

8x8 is aiming efforts toward crafting an exceptional partner program, with the X Series being the crown jewel.  A single application can provide voice, video conferencing, contact center, messaging and collaboration capabilities.

Adding to the customer experience, the X series ensures optimal agent routing; real time messages/notifications to agents to provide resolutions; and personalization capabilities. The robust platform is a convergence of communications, customer service and cloud delivering the promise of a modern solution.
