iomart Introduces Cloud Communications to Portfolio

Communications and collaboration only takes two capable human beings, but in the modern c-suite, cubicle or contact center cloud communications is gaining favor as the preferred means of communications.

Altigen Communications and iomart Group PLC announced a partnership to deliver UK-based cloud communications, and round out iomart’s cloud services portfolio.

According to Paul Fullman, Altigen's Vice President of EMEA, ''As one of the very first Microsoft ISVs designing and deploying natively integrated contact centre solutions for Microsoft's UC platforms, Altigen's goal is to eliminate complex, difficult to support on premises architectures with a comprehensive cloud communications service. Based on the Microsoft Skype for Business platform, Altigen’s advanced routing and queuing applications, managed and deployed in iomart’s data centers (ISO 9001 PCI/DSS compliant), leveraging Gamma Telecom’s SIP services, the pairing aimed to deliver a robust UC experience that is resilient, scalable. The cloud communications solution delivers U.K. businesses performance, proactive monitoring, call center management and more.

The cloud is no passing fad, this transformational technology is touching all points of an organization in the digital age, with cloud communications certainly stealing a bit of the spotlight.
