BIAS and MyCheck Team Up to Bring Seamless, Secure Cloud-Based Mobile Payment Processing to the Public and Private Sector

ATLANTA, July 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- BIAS Corporation, a global IT systems integrator and Oracle Platinum Partner, and MyCheck, a leading global provider of next-generation mobile payment platform solutions, announce an innovative partnership that will enable commercial and public sector organizations to offer their customers new, convenient and secure cloud-based mobile payment capabilities.

The partnership capitalizes on BIAS's prowess to integrate core backend business systems with MyCheck's digital wallet solution. Now, any organization — ranging from a state government, to a university, to an airline — can allow users to process payments via mobile app or on the web using a variety of payment methods including:

  • Apple Pay
  • Alipay
  • Amazon Pay
  • Masterpass
  • PayPal
  • Visa Checkout
  • WeChat Pay

Traditional credit and debit cards and physical/e-gift card solutions may be used as well.

With the system in place, for example, a business traveler who pays for a meal at an airport restaurant can seamlessly link that payment back to their core HR business system and pay for the meal with eligible miles.

"MyCheck has spent seven years excelling in the hospitality industry," said Cyndi Shepley, MyCheck VP of Sales. "With our partnership with BIAS, we're going much broader."

According to John Ezzell, BIAS Co-Founder and Executive Vice President, many government operations and other entities bound by regulations, are not yet in the cloud. These organizations want to enable the mobile experience for their users when it comes to payment processing. Integrating on-premise backend business systems with MyCheck's digital wallet solution is an optimal option.

"Compared to trying to build these systems on-premise, we can get our customers operational in the cloud in a matter of weeks because MyCheck is turnkey," said Ezzell. "It provides value in a much faster time frame and in a highly secure manner."

High-Level Security Limits Financial Risks and Fraud

MyChck's cloud-based digital wallet solution supports multiple currencies and different languages. It is secure because MyCheck is Payment Card Industry DSS Level 1 compliant for credit card processing —on par with the banking industry. BIAS is also committed to outstanding security. It uses the top protocols and tools of the industry to either incorporate existing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) or create new APIs to securely integrate business systems with MyCheck's digital wallet solution. And, everything is completely documented.

With the digital wallet solution in place to enable the mobile experience to process payments and specific backend system integration points to track payments, a city or county can make it very easy for constituents to pay parking tickets, while a university can establish a system allowing parents to provide funds for students to pay for essentials only. This limits the potential for fraud and abuse.

"We're providing BIAS and MyCheck customers with a method that enables highly secure transactions," said Shepley. "And it has the flexibility to support alternative payment types as they emerge."
